2013 has started well

More commissions: from the Hon Desmond Guinness, to be painted in watercolour, of interiors of his home Leixlip Castle, County Kildare, Ireland…..

New representation: at the Wren Gallery, 34 High Street, Burford, Gloucestershire, England. Gill Mitchell at the gallery has taken a small collection, comprising both oils and watercolours, to show in her Spring Exhibition. She has a preference for the larger works, but the collection includes all sizes.

Academic recognition: “Passionflower at the Window, Tourneferie”, watercolour 20″ x 14″ has been selected by the Royal Watercolour Society in London to be exhibited in their Open Watercolour Competition Exhibition opening at the end of February.
